Schupan Industrial Recycling accepts all scrap metal, but we CANNOT accept automobiles, propane tanks, and other potentially hazardous materials.

Get paid for throwing stuff away! Our Schupan Industrial Recycling locations in Kalamazoo, MI and Elkhart, IN, have a drive-thru retail scrap buying operation, which provides a convenient and safe way to turn your recyclable materials into cash.

Drive inside the building with your car or truck, where you’ll be greeted and directed to an unloading space where a team member will assist you in unloading your vehicle.
UNLOAD & WEIGH.
Unload & Weigh.
Your containers will be unloaded into a hopper and weighed. If you have only one type of material, the hopper will be weighed as a unit. Each material will be weighed individually if you have multiple, separated materials.
GET YOUR TICKET.
Get Your Ticket.
Your material value will be totaled and our attendant will provide you with a ticket that can be scanned for cash at our ATM, which is securely located in each retail building.
